14th April 2011 saw a trip to Beamish, the Living Museum of the North, by members of the Ponteland Photographic Society. Beamish presents inumerable opportunities for photography, with a number of exhibits, outside and indoors, based on either the 1850s or 1913. Entry is £16 for an adult, which seems expensive, but actually this is an annual pass.
